I am Chuck Richardson, your cyberteacher. I prefer to think of myself as your guide in a fascinating journey through the history of music in our culture. We will learn about monks and troubadours, emperors and clerics, composers and conductors. We will hear shawms and lutes, pianos and violins, orchestras and singers, and yes, even drums and electric guitars.

I am here to help you succeed in the course, so let me know if you have any questions about understanding the Course Instructions or completing your assignments. However, very often students ask questions that have already been covered in the Course Instructions, so please check there before you contact me.
