Description

This 144 hour course is designed according to the specifications of the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services, Certified Medication Aide Program. The course consists of 124 hours of classroom instruction, 20 hours of return skills demonstration laboratory, 10 hours of clinical experience, including observation and skills demonstration under direct supervision of a licensed nurse in a facility; and 10 hours of return demonstration in a laboratory. Please refer to the Course Information Packet for training eligibility requirements. Application approval by AH Coord rquired prior to registering in Community & Business Education office.
