Description
The Certified Nurse Aide Course at Texarkana College is a course designed to prepare students
to successfully complete the state certification test. This 100 hour course prepares entry level nursing assistants to achieve a level of knowledge, skills and abilities essential to provide basic care to patients and/or residents of hospitals, assisted living and long-term care facilities. The course consists of 60 hours of classroom theory and lab instruction, and 40 hours of clinical experience.

Effective Nov. 19, 2018, all students registering either online or in person will not be “complete’ until they submit a copy of their high school diploma or GED equivalent from the USA. If
