Description

Organic Chemistry II (lecture) (3,3,0). The classification, structure, nomenclature, methods of preparation, and standard reactions of carboxylic acids, sulfonic acids, amines, diazonium salts, aldehydes, ketones, carbohydrates, proteins, polyhydroxy compounds, heterocyclic compounds, and their derivatives. Prerequisite: CHEM 2323. Recommended co-requisite: CHEM 2125.
