Fundamental principles of theoretical and applied chemistry, stoichiometry, atomic structure, periodic arrangement of elements, ionic and covalent bonding, gases, liquids, and solids. Prerequisite: College Algebra (MATH 1314). Recommended co-requisite: CHEM 1111
